According to latest Deloitte’s Global Human Capital Trends report, 2018 will be the year of employee experience.

With millennials entering and reshaping the workforce, HR managers are facing challenges in the attraction, retention, engagement and development of the talent pool. Data science, hackathons, design thinking and gamification apps are in service of overall employee experience. The result is higher employee satisfaction, productivity, retention, as well as brand equity, competitive advantage, and sustainable growth.

HR MeetUp “How data science can magnify employee experience?” held by AlgebraLAB research center and e-Leadership MBA faculty will gather professionals in the field of leadership, human resources, data science and gamification to explore the latest challenges and solutions related to the overall employee experience.

All the tools presented at the MeetUp will be applied in leadership skills assessment of companies’ potential leaders during the Leadership Talent Tournament. Leadership Talent Tournament is a competitive contest held on 12 May by Algebra University College e-Leadership MBA and AlgebraLAB in partnership with progressive Croatian companies to assess leadership potential of upcoming leaders in the organization while solving real business challenges.

The event will:

  • Address the digitalization in recruitment;
  • Showcase the gamification solutions in assessment;
  • Share opportunities of corporate knowledge and innovation in employee experience;

Meet our presenters

Dr. Brett M. Wells is Chief Research Officer at Talent Plus. Scott Whiteford is Director of Leadership Development & Analytics at Talent Plus where he continues to study leadership through understanding the person’s strengths, the social structure, and social forces. Through his research on solutions and surveys he aims to help companies develop and retain strong leaders and their teams. He has a passion for understanding successful leadership and how it impacts organizations and expertise in leadership development

Keith GeLarden Dayton is a Senior Faculty Lecturer and MBA – MSIS Core Coordinator at the Indiana University, Kelley School of Business. He also teaches “Managing and Leading People in Global Environment” at Algebra University College e-Leadership MBA program.

Hrvoje Jerković, AlgebraLAB is a Senior Machine Learning and Data Analytics Engineer working on projects from domain of data science, machine learning, information systems, web applications. Lecturer and researcher at AlgebraLAB research center using wide range of methods, technology and projects related to data science and data economy.
